On this site we collect personal information in relation to enquiries being made about children being profiled and for the process of accepting donations. By submitting your personal information, you consent to our use of the information as set out in this privacy policy.
Use of personal information
We shall only use the personal information you provide us with in accordance with this policy and with any additional statements appearing on forms used for submitting your personal information.
We shall not disclose your personal information to any third parties without obtaining your prior consent unless we are required by law to do so. In particular:
- If you enquire about a child, we will pass your details to the child´s social worker. Your details will be used to enable them to make contact with you. We will not store your information.
- If you make a donation to us, we will pass your details to our payment provider, Pay Point, in order to obtain your payment. We will not store your credit card details on our servers. We only store the contact details you provide for administration purposes.
- If you have ticked the box to opt in for future updates from BAAF, we may use your given contact details to send you information about our work by email or by post. If at any time you wish to stop receiving communications from us, please click on the link at the end of the email or let us know by post. Your details will be removed from our database immediately.
Data storage
All data obtained by BAAF is held and used in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
